The International Classic Center

Mercedes-Benz deserves credit where credit is due.

The Mercedes-Benz International Classic Center opened in 1993 and situated near Stuttgart demonstrates the commitment that the company offers its clients and classic Benz connoisseurs.

The Center services cars as old as the tri-wheel Daimler of the late 1890s. The restoration house also sells fully restored classic Benzes that are more than 25 years old.

One of their more contemporary offerings is one 1979 midnight blue on blue 450SEL 6.9. The asking price for this collector's AMG tuned S-Class is €46,000 ($54,800).

Notice how every bit of chrome trim is painted to match the body color.

Behold the 6,834 cc's of V8; This Benz is ready to rip.

Those timeless gauges could be just as easily found on a 2001 SL55 AMG.

I am not usually a fan of Velour upholstery, but this blue ribbed interior works.
