Bangled Success: BMW Sales Grow in 2005

Bayerische Motoren Werke, AG -or- known to most as BMW, enjoyed robust worldwide growth in 2005 of roughly 10% or more than 110,000 cars.

This accounts for 1.3 million new BMWs sold last year.

According to news blog TechWhack, the credit for the Bavarian giant’s success last year was given to the new 3-Series and, curiously enough, the resphaped 7-Series.

Since the coupe and convertible versions of the popular 3-Series are likely to arrive at BMW dealerships this year, sales should continue to grow.
